• Please prepare a short song of your choosing that demonstrates vocal range and ability (an accompanist will be provided). Bring three copies of your music for the director, accompanist and yourself.

  ECU is a not-for-profit organization and is open to any singer, 17 and over, who can successfully pass the audition. Interested singers may contact the ECU office by phone at (847) 214-7225 or by email at Info@ ElginChoralUnion.org.

Rehearsals:

ECU rehearses each Tuesday night at Elgin Community College in room 164M, meeting from 7pm to 9:30 pm. All singers are expected to attend each rehearsal. Additional mandatory dress rehearsals are scheduled the week of the performance.

Chamber Singers:

Chamber Singers is a group of Elgin Choral Union members.  You can join this group by audition-only.  Community appearances include small ensemble performances for community and private events that take place throughout the year.  Interested members should call the office to schedule an audition.
