From the angst-filled love story of Romeo and Juliet to the celebratory message of the 1812 Overture, the Elgin Symphony Orchestra's 62nd season starts off with a bang - cannons, actually. Maestro Robert Hanson leads the ESO and the Elgin Choral Union on an exhilarating literary and historical tour composed by some of the giants of Russian composition.
