Estate Jewelry Sale
When: Friday, December 9, 11:00am - 5:00pm
Where: Elgin Community College Arts Center Lobby (VPA Building)An Estate Jewelry Sale on Friday, December 9, from 11am to 5pm, and Saturday, December 10, from 12pm to 7pm, will be held in the lobby of the Elgin Community College Arts Center (VPA building). Sponsored by the Elgin Choral Union, this sale offers a variety of pieces and sets including semi-precious stones, sterling silver, art deco and hand-made jewelry. All items for sale are a gift to the Elgin Choral Union from the estate of the late Marcelyn M. Kropp. A resident of Elgin since 2006, Marcelyn was a native of the Osage and Kaw American Indian tribes, an award winning journalist, a jewelry artist, a freelance reporter for the Courier News and a dedicated member of the Elgin Choral Union.
